Update On COVID-19 As At 28 April 2020

Unic Press UK: Circa 220,000 people across the world have died from COVID-19, and there are almost 3,140,000 confirmed carriers of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 which causes this killer disease COVID-19.

  • Confirmed Cases: 3.138 million
  • Deaths: 0.218 million
  • Recovered: 0.96 million

In the U.S., there are more than 1,000,000 confirmed cases of people contracting COVID-19, and more than 59,000 deaths. In the United Kingdom, the figures are circa 161,000 confirmed cases with more than 21,600 deaths.
