Nigeria Govt. Revokes 5 Oil Mining Licences (OML) & 1 Oil Prospecting Licence (OPL)

Unic Press UK: The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) revoked Thursday five Oil Mining Licences (OML) and an Oil Prospecting Licence (OPL) over legacy debts and the failure of some companies to make statutory remittances in line with their Joint Operatorship (JV) with the Federal Government, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.

The five companies affected are: Allied Energy Resources Nigeria (OML 120 and 121); Express Petroleum and Gas Company (OML 108); Pan Ocean Oil Corporation (OML 98); Cavendish Petroleum Nigeria (OML 110), and Summit Oil International (OPL 206).
