SpaceX Launch Of 1st Crew Dragon For NASA Successful

Unic Press UK: On Saturday, SpaceX made a successful launch of its 1st Crew Dragon for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

The 1st Crew Dragon of SpaceX, which has no astronaut on board, would take 27 hours to reach the International Space Station (ISS).  It is the first-ever test flight of a private spaceship designed/built for carrying astronauts into orbit. History!

In a statement on its website, SpaceX said

“On 2:49 a.m. EST on March 2, SpaceX launched Crew Dragon’s first demonstration mission from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This test flight without crew on board the spacecraft is intended to demonstrate SpaceX’s capabilities to safely and reliably fly astronauts to and from the International Space Station as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.”
