Unic Press UK: Germany has reached the UEFA Euro 2016 semi-finals after defeating Italy.
Germany’s Mesut Ozil scored in the 65 minutes of play, but Italy equalised when Leonardo Bonucci scored in the seventy-eight minute via a penalty. The scores remained Germany 1-1 Italy at the end of 90 minutes normal time, plus 30 minutes extra time, and the match winner had to be decided through penalty shootings.
Germany missed three penalty kicks, and Italy missed four. Germany win 6-5 on penalties.
