Unic Press UK: Today, the 25th December 2017, is Christmas Day. And Christians from around the whole wide world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
During his homily at Christmas Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, the Head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, said Jesus’ birth is an invitation for all Christians to learn from Him, and to help enhance the lives of the vulnerable and the lives of all those who are suffering.
“The joy with which God, in his infinite mercy, has embraced us pagans, sinners and foreigners, and demands that we do the same… to take into our arms, rise up and embrace the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the sick, the imprisoned”, Pope Francis – the servant of the servants of God – said.
