IPOB’s Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, Vows To Deal With Security Agencies Over Biafrans

Unic Press UK: Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has issued a warning that the killing of any Biafran by the State’s law enforcement agents would be avenged right to the doors of commander(s) that inked the order to kill.

In a tweet, Kanu said: If you are a commander of troops in the Nigerian army or police, hear this: That you’re wearing a uniform & adorning a rank does not make you invincible. If any #Biafran is killed on your orders, you will be hunted & punished, sooner than later. We’re taking stock & bidding our time.

About IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are seeking a referendum on Biafra independence from the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

IPOB, which was proscribed by the Nigerian government on September 2017, claims that its members are the original inhabitants and the natural owners of the lands and communities of Biafra and Biafraland as presently located in the South East region of Nigeria and many parts of the South South region and some parts of the Middle Belt province.

The group is led by Nnamdi Kanu, who holds dual citizenship being a Nigerian cum British national. Kanu is the director of Radio Biafra.

Until October 19, 2018 when a video emerged of him praying in Jerusalem, no one was categorical about his whereabouts after the Nigerian military invaded his home on 14th September 2017.
