Unic Press UK: The Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, has urged the Nigerian Government to tackle the fundamental problems facing the nation or risk a much bigger problem.
Governor Wike, who spoke Thursday on Channels TVs Sunrise Daily, said; Poor leadership is the bane of Nigeria.
“We must understand in this country that political leadership is very key. Having the political will to implement what the people want is very serious. I believe that if the president does not do, given the opportunities he has now, then, he will be putting Nigeria on fire,” said Wike.
During a meeting earlier this week with the Buhari-led administration, the leaders of thought of the south-south geopolitical region urged the Federal Government to restructure the country along the lines of true federalism.
