Unic Press UK: A drug manufacturing leviathan Pfizer and its collaborator, BioNTech, have announced positive efficacy results from a Phase 3 study of a potential COVID-19 vaccine.
In a statement Monday, Pfizer’s chief executive officer, Albert Bourla, said: “The vaccine candidate was found to be more than 90% effective in preventing COVID-19 in participants without evidence of prior SARS-CoV-2 infection in the first interim efficacy analysis.”
The results so far have demonstrated that the group’s mRNA-based vaccine helps to prevent COVID-19 in the majority of people who receive it, Pfizer added.
President Donald Trump, who had given a hint of the research breakthrough prior to the news, believes that the announcement Monday of a vaccine success was deliberately delayed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in collaboration with the Democrats.

As I have long said, @Pfizer and the others would only announce a Vaccine after the Election, because they didn’t have the courage to do it before. Likewise, the @US_FDA should have announced it earlier, not for political purposes, but for saving lives!
