Unic Press UK: The members of the ‘Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses & Lekki Toll Gate Incident’ sighted Friday several shell casings as it toured the toll gate and surroundings as part of its ongoing inquiry.
A shell casing is usually made of metal. It is not a bullet. Basically, it is a piece of ammunition mechanism loaded into a firearm [gun] chamber to be shot.
The shell casings retrieved from the incident site in Lagos could serve as a vital evidence that would be useful to the Panel.
Among the crew that visited the toll gate where at least two people who took part in the #EndSARS protest 20 October 2020 were gunned down included the Panel chairperson, retired Hon. Justice Doris Okuwobi, the other members of the Panel, the representatives of the Lekki Concession Company Limited, and journalists’.
