Unic Press UK: North Korea has marked the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Workers’ Party of Korea with a military parade, displaying a series of military materiel, including some of the country’s submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLMBs), intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) not previously unveiled in a public gathering.
The parade was closely monitored by South Korea and the United states, the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said.
In a speech, the North Korean supreme leader, Kim Jong-Un, said: The country would continue to build its defence power and self-defensive war deterrence. He, however, expressed regret about the state of the economy, saying: I am ashamed that I have never been able to repay you properly for your enormous trust.
