Unic Press UK: Nigeria is on the right track towards being a net exporter of petroleum products in 2022, says the Department Of Petroleum Resources.
Speaking in Lagos during an official visit to the DPR headquarters by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Director and Chief Executive Officer of DPR, Sarki Auwalu, said the feat would be achieved given the subsisting five refineries and another seven under construction.
It is expected that by 2020, there would be a combined capacity of 375,000 bpd from 27 modular refineries, and 650,000 barrels from the Dangote refinery, and 450,000 barrels from the government refineries, said DPR ceo.
