Onslaught On Christianity (1-2)

‘Onslaught On Christianity’ (1-2) By Temple Chima Ubochi

For God shows no partiality (Romans 2:11)

It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit (Jude 1:19)

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers (Proverbs 6:16-19)

I hate and condemn double standard mentality. People aren’t that different, and double standards only enforce all kinds of discrimination! Life is life, and life is equal. No matter your color, creed or class, we all are equal before God, and we are made of flesh and blood. Every blood is red in color, no matter your race. That’s why blood banks in countries having white and black population do collect and keep blood from everybody willing to donate it no matter his or her color. The blood they collected is not differentiated; so the blood from white folks is not kept separately specifically for white patients, and the blood from black folks is not kept specifically for black patients – in other words, blood from a black person can be transfused into a white patient, as long as their blood group and components matched, and vice versa. The point I want to make is that all humans have the same blood color and temperature, meaning that all blood is made of the same basic elements, the only difference, that has nothing to do with race, is that blood is categorized into four different types: A, B, AB, and O.

Based on the above facts, nobody should be wasting human blood because of differences in race or religion. We shouldn’t be destroying what we didn’t create. Life should be sacred or sacrosanct. God created life, and only He has the right to take it. No human being should take another fellow’s life under any guise. So, Muslims shouldn’t see it as their prerogative to kill Christians and vice versa; and whites shouldn’t take it upon themselves to be killing blacks and vice versa.

On March 15, a lone deranged man went on a shooting spree at two Mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. This unprovoked killing of innocent Muslim worshippers and bystanders evoked national and international outcries and condemnations. But Christians are being killed, in Nigeria, in particular, and all over the world in general, on a regular basis, and you hardly hear any outcry or condemnation.

On Sunday, April 21, a string of bombings at churches and luxury hotels across Sri Lanka killed about 290 people and wounded about 500, and the numbers are rising. Jihad Watch wrote that six explosions ripped through Sri Lanka’s churches and popular hotels on Easter morning. Worshippers were targeted at the Kochikade, St Sebastian and Batticaloa churches during Easter mass. The other locations were Hotel Shangri La, Cinnamon Grand and Kingsbury hotel – about three churches and three hotels were attacked.

The Sri Lankan tourism minister said that at least 39 foreigners (tourists) have been killed and 28 injured, in the six serial blasts (most of the dead and injured are Sri Lankan); and that two of the six attacks that rocked Sri Lanka have been carried out by suicide bombers. The attack at Shangri La hotel was carried out by suicide bomber Zahran Hashim, while Abu Mohammad has been identified as the attacker at the Batticaloa church.

Denmark’s richest man, Anders Holch Povlsen, lost three of his four children in the Easter day attacks in Sri Lanka, a spokesman for his clothing retail group, Bestseller, said on Monday, April 22.

Other foreign nationals who died were four US citizens, eight British citizens two of whom held dual US-UK nationality, three Indians, two Australians, two Chinese cousins, one Dutch, two Turks, and one Portuguese.

The attacks in Sri Lanka were calculated attempts by Muslim terrorists to disrupt the Easter celebrations in the country. They were also attempts by the Muslim terrorists to stop the government’s effort of lifting the country out of poverty through the resuscitation of the tourism industry. Those Muslim terrorists hate it when things start getting better for Sri Lanka; they want the country to remain as one the poorest in the world, and the people of Sri Lanka to continue to live in abject poverty.

The Sri Lankan government has been hoping to use tourism as a key economic contributor to the development of a country ravaged by a bloody civil war and ethnic animosities, and it has been investing in the sector, but the Muslim terrorists are not happy with the gains the country have been making in the industry and must disrupt the whole thing. Oxford Business Group wrote: “With sustained double-digit growth in visitor arrivals and burgeoning foreign exchange receipts, tourism is one of the most dynamic and robust sectors of the Sri Lankan economy. The country’s growing reputation is drawing visitors from an increasingly diverse range of markets to its pristine beaches, historical landmarks and adventure-packed outdoors”.

Unfortunately, the Sri Lankan government has admitted that it was warned of the attacks but failed to stop them. Just as it was suspected that an international terror group might have been behind the attacks, CNN has just ( April 23) reported that. Sri Lanka bombings were carried out by a ‘radical Islam group’ in retaliation for Christchurch mosque attacks, defense minister says .The government has then apologized for its incompetence here.

Let me offer my condolences to the people of Sri Lanka, especially to the victims and their families. Also, I offer belated condolences to the people of New Zealand for the attacks on Muslims on March 15. May the souls of the deceased rest in peace!

This column condemns, into to, the killing of innocent people, no matter where, when and why. Killing is killing no matter who does it and to whom.

What irks me in the whole thing is that a mad Christian killed Muslims and the world reacted furiously to it, but Muslim terrorists are killing people all over the world, and the news is not getting the headlines it deserves. Does it mean that the lives of Nigerian Christians and those of the other Christians killed elsewhere are worth less than the lives of Muslims? Taking Nigeria as an example, the world has been looking the other way while atrocities are being perpetrated against the Nigerian Christians in the northern part of the country. While the deranged guy in New Zealand was killing the Muslims in Mosques over there, Muslim terrorists and Fulani herdsmen, who’re also Muslims, were slaughtering Christians, and while the New Zealand killings were all over the news, the killing of Nigerian Christians or other Christians in other African countries were never mentioned in any major international news.

I don’t support the killing of anybody, no matter his or her creed, but, sometimes, I feel like telling the Muslims to have a taste of their own medicine. Many Muslims are heartless and have no qualms subjecting their fellow human beings through an excruciating pain or even death all in the name of religion. The 9-11 attack on the twin towers in New York carried out by Muslim terrorists, changed the way we used to travel by air. Since then, we no longer enjoy flying as security controls at the airports have become more rigorous or stringent and very intrusive. We’re no longer allowed to carry so many things into a plane cabin again.

The Islamic religion is very violent, as their Quran permits the killing of “non-believers”. Sometimes, I wonder if this religion really belongs to the past. I can’t imagine myself belonging to a religion that preaches violence, as the Qur’an 9:111 says “Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties, for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed.” And Qur’an 8:60 says “And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may strike terror in the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know, whom Allah knows.”

World leaders have been responding to the Easter Sunday bombings in Sri Lanka, but I want to comment specifically on President Obama’s reaction to the bombings. Let me start by saying that I was one of those who campaigned and supported Obama’s candidature in 2008. I wrote a lot of articles supporting him (whether those articles played any role in his election is a different topic). I also supported and campaigned for his re-election (whether my efforts made any difference is also a different topic). But I will say that Obama, as the president, was a disappointment to the black race, to the African continent, and to Christians. President Obama was feigning to be a Christian in public, but actually, he’s a diehard Muslim, and most of the policies he pursued, as president, were for the benefit of the Muslim world. America didn’t know that it elected a Muslim as a president. He was even quoted as having once said that “Muslims built the very fabric of our nation”. Obama got to the White House and started removing the Christian artifacts and symbols he met there. (President Trump has started replacing them).

During his tenure, the Lord’s Prayer was stopped in most American schools so that the Muslims will not be offended.

Christmas greetings and signs were no longer displayed in shops during the season so as not offend the Muslims.

Same-sex relationships became encouraged and rampant.

Different bathrooms were built in schools and in the military for transsexuals or homosexuals.

Obama ignored Africa while cozying with the Arab world that has more horrific human rights records than most African countries.

Obama embraced anything Islamic with seriousness and had a lukewarm attitude towards anything that has to do with Christianity.

Obama helped foist Buhari, a Muslim, on Nigeria, because he wanted Goodluck Jonathan out for being a Christian, and for refusing to support homosexuality in Nigeria.

Obama secretly aided Buhari’s campaign and made a video where he surreptitiously campaigned for the election of Buhari in 2015, even though that he denied having that intention, but people with discerning mind read between the lines there. Obama then sent his Secretary of State, John Kerry, on a religious and sectional partisanship visit to Nigeria where he met only with northerners and mostly Muslims. Few days before the 2015 presidential election in Nigeria, John Kerry was sent to meet Buhari, in Lagos, and the setting was as if Buhari was already the president of Nigeria.

When the attack in New Zealand happened, President Obama twitted “Michelle and I send our condolences to the people of New Zealand. We grieve with you and the Muslim community. All of us must stand against hatred in all its forms”. Here, President Obama mentioned the Muslim Community.

But, when the attacks in Sri Lanka happened, President Obama twitted: “The attacks on tourists and Easter worshippers in Sri Lanka are an attack on humanity. On a day devoted to love, redemption, and renewal, we pray for the victims and stand with the people of Sri Lanka”. Here, President Obama found it hard to mention Christians or churches. Easter worship is not a religion for Easter worshippers; rather Christians are the Easter worshippers. One Remi twitted: “Obama, Hillary, and Democrats couldn’t say ISIS during the campaign. Never mentioned “Muslim Terrorists”, mentioned “Muslim victims” in New Zealand, now calling Christian victims “Easter Worshippers and Tourists”. They don’t want to offend donors from Qatar, Jordan, and Yemen”.

The just released Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report portrays President Obama as being a weak president as he failed to stop Russia’s interference in United States’ elections since 2014. The CNN wrote: “The Mueller report flatly states that Russia began interfering in American democracy in 2014. Over the next couple of years, the effort blossomed into a robust attempt to interfere in our 2016 presidential election. The Obama administration knew this was going on and yet did nothing. Why did Obama go soft on Russia? My opinion is that it was because he was singularly focused on the nuclear deal with Iran. Obama wanted Putin in the deal, and to stand up to him on election interference would have, in Obama’s estimation, upset that negotiation. This turned out to be a disastrous policy decision

President Obama didn’t do much for Africa as a president; he didn’t do much for the blacks in America, in fact, he didn’t make sure any single bill on racial equality was passed and signed into law for the empowerment of the African-Americans (blacks), throughout his presidency. His own Chicago became one of the most dangerous cities in America during his tenure, and he did nothing to stop the killings going on in that city. President Obama destroyed the Democratic Party, and he was one of the reasons Hillary Clinton failed to win the presidency because she associated herself with him. Most of all, because of Obama, no black may ever rule America again; perhaps, not in our lifetime. For now, the Democratic Party will continue to be in the political wilderness until it completely exorcises the spirit of Obama out from itself.

To be concluded!
