Mueller Report Clears Trump Of Allegations Of Conspiring With Russia – U.S. Attorney General

Unic Press UK: The report submitted by the special counsel of the investigation into Russian interference in the United States Presidential Election 2019 and related matters, Robert Mueller did not find any facts to support the allegation that Donald Trump and or his vassals had colluded with the Russian government in the course of the election, the U.S. attorney general William Barr says in a 4-page letter to the U.S. Congress dated March 24, 2019.

The report entitled “Report on the Investigation into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election” is divided into two parts, viz: The outcome of the Special Counsel’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the U.S. Presidential Election 2016; and the Russian government’s efforts to engage in computer hacking operations to gather and disseminate information to influence the election.

“The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election. As the report states: “[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities,” Barr’s letter reads. “The Special Counsel found that Russian government actors successfully hacked into computers and obtained emails from persons affiliated with the Clinton campaign and Democratic Party organizations, and publicly disseminated those materials through various intermediaries, including WikiLeaks.”

The investigation conducted by Mueller involved 19 lawyers, 40 agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), forensic experts, 500 search warrants, interviews with circa 500 witnesses, intelligence analysts, over 230 orders for disclosure of communication orders, and many others.
