United Nations Condemn Terrorist Attacks In Pakistan Market & Chinese Consulate

Unic Press UK: The United Nations has issued a statement condemning the terrorist attacks by gunmen in Pakistan.

In a message of commiseration on Friday, the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres condoled the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

“The Secretary-General condemns the terrorist attacks today at the Chinese Consulate in Karachi and a market in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. The Secretary-General extends his deep condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured. He also sends his deepest sympathies to the Government and people of Pakistan. He hopes those responsible for the attacks will be swiftly brought to justice, an excerpt from the UN statement reads.

At circa 9:30 AM, local time, on Friday, armed persons believed to be terrorists attacked the Chinese Consulate, Karachi; and killed four individuals.

In another deadly incident on the same day, about 30 people were killed when a bomb detonated at a market situated in Orakzai district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
