Unic Press UK: Saudi Arabian consulate workers’ in Istanbul are being interrogated at the Turkish prosecutor’s office over the alleged murder of a journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the Anadolu News Agency reported Friday.
Turkey had accused the Saudi Arabian government of killing Jamal Khashoggi, who walked into the Saudi Arabian embassy on October 2, 2018 with regard to paperwork ahead of his marriage to a Turkish national, but did not exit the building thereafter.
The Turkish government believes that Mr Khashoggi was killed in the building, claiming to be in possession of the audio and video evidence.
A forensic team searched the consulate a few days’ ago.
