Health Worker Hauwa Mohammed Liman Executed In Captivity In Nigeria

Unic Press UK: A health worker Hauwa Mohammed Liman, who was held hostage for several months by a Jihad terrorist group, Boko Haram, has been murdered in captivity by her captors, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced on Tuesday.

In a press release, the ICRC said: “The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) received information indicating that Hauwa Mohammed Liman has been killed by her captors in a despicable act of cruelty. Hauwa is the second abducted health worker in Nigeria to be murdered in the last month. Hauwa, 24, was full of life, becoming a midwife at an early age. She was truly dedicated to her work helping vulnerable women in her family’s home area.”

It was on March 1 that Hauwa and Saifura Hussaini Ahmed Khorsa were abducted by the notorious Jihad terrorist groups Boko Haram in Rann, Borno State of Nigeria. Saifura was killed by her captors on 16 September. Two other women, Alice Loksha and Leah Sharibu, are still in captivity.
