Trump At United Nations Claims He’s Achieved More Than Previous U.S. Administrations

Unic Press UK: United States President Donald Trump spoke Tuesday at the United Nations headquarters, during a high-level General Debate of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 73), claiming that his administration has achieved much more than any of the previous administration of U.S.

Trump said: “In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country,” a comment that triggered applause as well as eccentric laughter among world leaders.

Speaking further at the UN, Trump accused the Iranian leadership of sowing “chaos, death and destruction,” accusing the Islamic Republic of disrespecting their neighbours or borders or the sovereign rights of nations; and spreading mayhem across the Middle East and far beyond; and plundering the nation’s assets for personal gains.

With regard to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), he said: “There have been no tests, no nuclear tests, no rockets, no missile launches. And we got our hostages back… So we’re doing very well with North Korea. Again, far greater than anybody would know. With support from many countries here today we have engaged with North Korea to replace the spectre of conflict with a bold and new push for peace. I would like to thank Chairman Kim for his courage and for the steps he has taken, though much work remains to be done,” insisting that U.S. sanctions would remain in force until North Korea completes denuclearisation.

President Donald Trump also denounced globalism, emphasizing that the U.S. “reject the ideology of globalism and we embrace the doctrine of patriotism.”
