Iran Won’t Negotiate With The U.S., Says Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

Unic Press UK: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Monday rejected talks with the United States government.

According to the Press TV, Khamenei said: “We can only embark on the dangerous game of negotiating with America after we reach the economic and political and cultural power that we have in mind so that its pressures and ballyhoo would not be able to affect us. However, at the present time, negotiations [with the United States] will be certainly to our detriment and is forbidden.”

Khamenei also denounced the withdrawal of the United States from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), adding that Iran won’t negotiate with a “bullying” regime that reneged on an earlier nuclear agreement.
