Unic Press UK: President Buhari has approved that the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) should extend the validity of Nigerian passport from five to ten years, the Comptroller-General of Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammed Babandede, said Thursday.
Given the response from the NIS to an inquiry on Twitter apropos the fresh development, it is still unclear when the 10-year validity will come into force.
Please go ahead with your online application for the 5years. Work is still ongoing for the 10 years Passport.
