Unic Press UK: The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said Monday that he has the authority to grant pardon to himself. Trump’s remark is in relation to the ongoing investigation on the allegations that the Russian government and its agents had interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and related matters in a manner that provided assistance to the Trump presidential campaign.
As has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong? In the meantime, the never ending Witch Hunt, led by 13 very Angry and Conflicted Democrats (& others) continues into the mid-terms!

Given the above tweet, Trump merely reiterated the views of his lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who said Sunday that the president is in a position to pardon himself.
Speaking to the ABC News recently, Giuliani said that any attempt by the special counsel Robert Mueller – who is investigating the allegations that the Russians interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and other matters – to subpoena his client Trump will necessitate a legal challenge in court.
