North Korea: ‘Unimaginable’ Strike To Hit United States

Unic Press UK: North Korea, officially known as the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), once again expressed frustration and angst over the United States and the South Korean government for embarking on a joint military drill that commenced Monday, the 16th October 2017, in the East Sea and South Sea of Korea.

“Now that the enemies claim the drill would be a demonstration of the real strike upon the DPRK, they should know that the Korean-style toughest countermeasures have been fully prepared to make the strike end in smoke at a single stroke. Worse still, the U.S. is running amuck by introducing under our nose the targets we have set as primary ones. The U.S. should expect that it would face unimaginable strike at an unimaginable time,” the state owned media organization Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted a spokesman for the Pan-Korean Emergency Measure Committee for Opposing Nuclear War Drills against the DPRK.

North Korea reiterated its position that the South Korean national authorities are puppets of the U.S., having allowed [without considering the grave consequences] the deployment of America’s “nuclear strategic assets” on its soil in a way that made the South Korean territory vulnerable to nuclear war.

The U.S. forces and South Korean forces usually carry out joint exercises in the tensed Korean Peninsula, thereby eliciting a barrage of verbal threats from North Korea.

The current military drill would be for a 10-day period as both countries [U.S. and South Korea] continue their routine military exercise, which is aimed at simulating combat operations/readiness in the light of DPRK being a threat to the United States and its allies.
