Unic Press UK: Speaking on Sunday when he appeared on CNN’s State of the Union programme, the United States Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, said that President Donald Trump made clear to him that a diplomatic solution to the Korean Peninsula imbroglio is his desire.
“He is not seeking to go to war… diplomatic efforts will continue until the first bomb drops”, Tillerson said.

It is still unclear whether Tillerson’s statement is the current position of the United States on the Korean Peninsula crisis given that the United States president Donald Trump had, a few weeks ago, dissociated himself and the American government from the position of the country’s Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on the tensed situation in the Korean peninsula.
I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man…

North Korea, one the state actors entangled in the Korean Peninsula crisis, is unrelenting in its pursuit of nuclear arms advancement, and has made perceptible strides in its development of nuclear weapons. In 2016, Pyongyang carried out its fourth and fifth nuclear tests, recording successful detonations on each occasion. On 3rd September 2017, the communist State successfully executed its sixth nuclear test, which is said to be five times more powerful than the nuclear bomb dropped on Nagasaki by the U.S.
The Democratic People’s Republic Of Korea (DPRK) will not give up its nuclear arsenal under any terms/conditions, the State’s Foreign Minister Lee Yong-ho said during an interview with TASS. When asked to explain the conditions that may cause a dialogue between the DPRK and the United States, Lee Yong-ho said:
“… our principled position is that we will never agree to any negotiations on which our nuclear weapons will be the subject of negotiations. As we have stated more than once, the most important thing is that the US should remove the hostile policy and nuclear threat against the DPRK with all their sources and roots.” (Lee Yong-ho: 11th October 2017)
