North Korea: Trump Vows To Use ‘Nuclear Capabilities’ To Defend U.S. & Its Allies

Unic Press UK: President Donald Trump said the U.S. will use its nuclear capabilities to defend itself and its allies in the light of hostile and dangerous threats from the North Korean government.

Trump reiterated his readiness to ‘fire’ U.S. nuclear weapons on North Korea during an exchange by telephone with the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe.

“The two leaders condemned North Korea’s destabilizing and provocative actions…. President Trump reaffirmed the commitment of the United States to defending our homeland, territories, and allies using the full range of diplomatic, conventional, and nuclear capabilities at our disposal,” the White House said in a statement released yesterday.

President Trump remains unequivocal about his earlier submission that North Korea is a rogue nation.

Following North Korea’s test of a hydrogen bomb [“the explosive power of which is adjustable from ten kiloton to hundreds kiloton”], one that can be mounted on an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) on 3rd September 2017, the U.S. President summoned his military advisers to an urgent meeting.

After Trump’s meeting with his advisers, the Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, who spoke in front of the White House, said:

“We had a small group… national security meeting today with the President and the Vice President… about the latest provocation in the Korean Peninsula… We have many military options and the President wanted to be briefed on all of them. We made clear that we have the ability to defend ourselves and our allies South Korea and Japan from attack, and our commitments to our allies are ironclad. Any threat to the United States or its territories, including Guam or our allies, will be met with a massive military response – a response both effective and overwhelming. Kim Jong-un should take heed of the United Nations Security Council’s unified voice. All members unanimously agreed on the threat North Korea poses. And they remain unanimous in their commitment to the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula… We are not looking to the total annihilation of a country – namely, North Korea. But as I said, we have many options to do so.” (Defense Secretary Jim Mattis; 3rd Sept. 2017)

North Korea’s successful test of a hydrogen bomb on Sunday, the 3rd September 2017, was so massive/frightening that it was registered as a 6.3 magnitude earthquake by several bodies, including the U.S. Geological Survey, China Earthquake Administration (CEA), Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA). The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the state news agency of North Korea, said.

“The H-bomb, the explosive power of which is adjustable from ten kiloton to hundreds kiloton, is a multi-functional thermonuclear nuke with great destructive power which can be detonated even at high altitudes for super-powerful [Electromagnetic pulse] EMP attack according to strategic goals”
