North Korea: President Jinping Urges Calm In Talks With Trump

Unic Press UK: The Chinese President, Xi Jinping called on all the parties to the issues concerning the Korean Peninsula, especially the issues relating to North Korea’s pursuit of modernized nuclear weapons, to show deep restraint in order to avoid escalating a torrid situation.

The Chinese leader, Jinping expressed his desire for a more cautious/constructive resolution-driven approach during talks by telephone with his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump today, Saturday. He reiterated the readiness of the Peoples Republic of China to work with the United States to reach a lasting solution to this perennial problem.

Recently, the U.S. President, Donald Trump warned the communist state North Korea to end further threats to the United States, using what several political analysts and many U.S. politicians believe were unhelpful rhetoric:

“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening, beyond a normal statement, and as I said, they will be met with fire, fury and, frankly, power the likes of which this world has never seen before.” (Donald Trump: 8th August 2017).

Despite the reservations toward Trump’s “fire and fury” rage, as expressed by many, including a number of Republican Senators,  the U.S. President once again lashed out at the North Korean government in a tweet yesterday.

Trump’s fury toward the North Korean leadership under Kim Jong-un seems to be worsened by the outcome of a recent assessment by the U.S. intelligence officials who stated that the communist state had successfully produced a miniaturized nuclear warhead that could be placed on the tip of its ballistic missile.
