Trump: Media Not Reporting U.S. National Debt Falls By $12 Billon Under My Watch

Unic Press UK: “The media has not reported that the National Debt in my first month went down by $12 billion vs a $200 billion increase in Obama first mo.,” the U.S. president Donald Trump said on Twitter.

When he was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States on 20th January 2017, the U.S. “Total Public Debt Outstanding” was $19,947,304,555,212.49; but as of the 23rd February 2017, the debt had been reduced to $19,913,901,120,188.15, as illustrated on https://www.treasurydirect.gov/NP/debt/search?startMonth=01&startDay=20&startYear=2017&endMonth=02&endDay=25&endYear=2017

The U.S. president believes he is at a ‘war’ with a band within the mainstream media he had labeled “fake news”. He used the word war on 21st January 2017 at the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), when he said:

“So I can only say that I am with you 1000%. And the reason you’re my first stop is that as you know, I have a running war with the media. They are among the most dishonest human beings on Earth.”
