Unic Press UK: The hashtag, #MediaLiesAgain and #FakeNews, are presently trending on Twitter, after the U.S. government denied/denounced the media reports of a plot to deploy 100,000 national guards to sniff out and deport illegal immigrants.
In his reaction on Twitter, the White House press secretary and communications director for U.S. president Donald Trump, Sean Spicer said that the stories on a so-called draft proposal to use the U.S. National Guard to round up illegal immigrants are “not true”, 100% false.
This is not true. DHS also confirms it is 100% false https://t.co/MFIJci7XaU

The recent fake news ignited debate on the alarming degree of phoney reports traversing the gamut of the public space from several top media organization.
In this recent case, it appears the majority on Twitter took serious exceptions to this sort of fake report in the light of the fact that the purveyors of the fake news neither sought confirmation from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security nor contacted the office of the White House press secretary prior to publication. Amazing the @AP would even consider trashing the National Guard and cause mass hysteria around the nation just to "get at" Trump. Sad! 👎🏼 pic.twitter.com/SGMCGIXc4p
