Unic Press UK: President Muhammadu Buhari has communicated to the National Assembly [The Senate and The House of Representatives] on his desire to extend his ongoing vacation.
In a press statement by the president’s special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, on Sunday, the 5th January 2017, President Buhari said he has yet to “complete and receive the results of a series of tests recommended by his doctors.”
Prior to this development, Buhari was expected to resume work tomorrow, Monday, the 6th January.
It has yet to be known the exact date President Buhari will return to Nigeria to resume work.
