Unic Press UK: Nigeria’s female national football team, the Super Falcons won the 2016 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which was hosted by Cameroon. This is the eighth time the Super Falcons won the trophy.
Nigeria 1 – 0 Cameroon was the score at the end of the final, which was played on Saturday, the 3rd December 2016, at Cameroon’s 40000 capacity Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium.
Below is the photo of Asisat Oshoala, one of Nigeria’s key players, holding the trophy. Oshoala plays for Arsenal Ladies; she was named the best player cum the highest goal scorer at the FIFA 2014 U-20 Women’s World Cup.
