Protesters Upset About Trump Need To Accept The Results/Reality, Says Obama

Unic Press UK: U.S. President Barack Obama addressed the people of America on Monday, the 14th November 2016, thereafter he took time to answer a range of the questions from the media, including what transpired during his meeting with the U.S. president-elect Donald Trump.

On the election of Trump, Obama said:

“The people have spoken. Donald Trump will be the next president.

“Those who didn’t vote for him have to recognize that’s how democracy works, that’s how the system operates.

“It takes a while for people to reconcile themselves with that new reality. Hopefully it’s a reminder that elections matter and voting counts.

On the meeting with Trump:

“We had a very cordial conversation.

“I did say to him as I said publicly that because of the nature of the campaigns and the bitterness and ferocity of the campaign that it’s really important for us to send some signals of unity.

“Of course I’ve got concerns. He and I differ on a while bunch of different issues.
