Unic Press UK: President Buhari has responded to the scathing comments his wife Aisha Buhari made in the course of an interview with the renowned British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
He said:Â “I don’t know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room.”
The President’s comments has been widely denounced by most Nigerians who seem to view his comment as unbecoming of expectations from someone who holds an exalted political position.
Many within and beyond Nigeria have expressed that Buhari’s statement that was made in Germany in response to a question on what his wife had told the BBC was an affront to women all over the globe.
This is not about Aisha provoking Buhari, this is about Buhari's mentality about the role of women in society.

That is left for the people to decide. (In her response to whether her husband with fully in-charge of Nigeria’s affairs as President
