Unic Press UK: Nigeria’s team at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, on Sunday, the 7th August 2016, defeated Sweden 1 – 0, and has qualified for the quarterfinals of the men’s tournament.
The only goal in the game was scored by Sadiq Umar via a spectacular header at the 40′ minute.
Nigeria’s team managed by Samson Siasia dominated the game from the start to the finish, and could have won by a wide margin if the team had converted most of the chances.
Nigeria will play Colombia at 23:00 hrs on Wednesday, the 10th August 2016.
