Unic Press UK: Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, were in the dock on Monday, the 27th June 2016, over criminal charges relating to conspiracy and forgery of the Nigerian Senate Standing Rules that was used to elect and inaugurate the Senate leadership on June 9, 2015.

Others facing the same criminal charges along with the aforementioned duo were a former clerk of the National Assembly, Alhaji Salisu Abubakar Maikasuwa, and his deputy, Mr. Benedict Efeturi.
