Unic Press UK: President Barack Obama, today, the 9th June, welcomed the U.S. Democratic Party presidential nomination candidate Bernie Sanders to the White House for talks on the U.S. 2016 presidential election.
Hillary Clinton sealed the Democratic Party presidential nomination on Monday, the 6th June, given an up-to-date report on superdelegate and delegate count, but her rival Bernie Sanders has yet to accept defeat.
It appears President Obama is worried over Bernie’s decision not to quit despite the count that clearly illustrate that Hillary is the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party.
The meeting at Oval office today is apparently a means toward resolving a range of issues to avert a major division within the Democratic Party prior to the presidential election that will hold on November 2016.
