ABUJA, Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has issued a statement denouncing misleading reports being powered by a number of media organisation [Unic Press not included] that the price of premium motor spirit (petrol) had been reduced to N57 (Naira) per litre.
Through their twitter handle, the NNPC said: “Reports of a purported reduction in the current pump price of petrol from N87 per Litre to N57 are FALSE.”
