LAGOS, Federal Republic of Nigeria. Igbo Think Tank “Aka Ikenga”, on Tuesday, October 6, said that President Muhammadu Buhari has disappointed Nigerians with the names he presented to the Senate for screening and confirmation as would-be ministers.
Speaking in a chat with Daily Independent, its president ,Goddy Uwazurike, said that he was disappointed, especially given the fact that the names read by Senate President, Bukola Saraki, was not different from the names that were speculated in the media.
He also added that the impression created by the Presidency that only credible Nigerians with impeccable characters will dominate the list has not been met.
According to him “I am disappointed. I was expecting something different. There are many names that I am expecting that were not there”.
“The impression given by the Presidency that very impeccable Nigerians will populate that list has not been met. Not only I but so many Nigerians will also be disappointed with the list. But all hope is not lost. Let us wait and see maybe something good will come out in the supplementary list” he said.
