‘Fulani’ Herdsmen Abduct Olu Falae, Demand N100mn Ransom

AKURE, Federal Republic of Nigeria. Olu Falae, the National Chairman of Social Democratic Party, has been attacked, abducted by herdsmen suspected to be of the Fulani tribe.

The incident–attack, smack and abduction of Falae and his workers’– orchestrated by suspected Fulani herdsmen at Falae’s farm at Ilu-Abo in Akure, Ondo state, was announced on Monday by Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Wole Ogodo. It is believed that about 50 policemen have been deployed to cordon, search the area to possibly rescue Falae.

It appears that Falae’s abductors have reached his family demanding N100mn ransom.
