Boris Johnson’s Newborn [Son] Named After Grandpa/Doctors Who Treated PM For COVID-19

Unic Press UK: UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, and his fiancée, Carrie Symonds, have named their newborn son Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas.

The name Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas chosen by the Prime Minister and his fiancée is a tribute to their grandfathers’ and two of the doctors’ [Dr Nick Price and Prof Nick Hart] at St Thomas’ Hospital who helped Boris recover from COVID-19.

In a joint statement, Dr Nick Price and Prof Nick Hart said:

“We are honoured and humbled to have been recognised in this way, and we give our thanks to the incredible team of professionals who we work with at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and who ensure every patient receives the best care. We wish the new family every health and happiness,” the BBC reports.

The newborn is the third baby to be sired by a serving UK prime minister in living memory. In 2000, Tony Blair in office as prime minister, had a son Leo. In 2010, David Cameron had a daughter Florence.
