Thailand Cave Rescue: 12 Boys’ & Football Coach Safe, Rescued From Flooded Cave

Unic Press UK: The twelve boys and their football coach are no longer in the flooded Tham Khao Luang Cave in Thailand as all of them have been rescued following the success of a dangerous rescue operation, which was carried out by the Thailand government with international support.

The boys’, aged between 11 and 16, and their 25-year-old coach had been trapped in the ten kilometers Khao Luang cave since 23 June following rainfall that caused a rapid rise in water level, making it very difficult to exit the cave.

The main rescue operation involving divers led to the rescue of four boys on 8 July. Thereafter, on 9 July, four more were rescued. The last batch of four boys and their coach exited the cave on Tuesday, the 10th July 2018.
