Unic Press UK: The Syrian government has described the deployment of Turkish troops to its Idleb province as blatant aggression against a sovereign State.
“Syria condemns in the strongest possible terms the incursion of Turkish army units into Idleb province, stressing that it constitutes a blatant aggression against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country and a flagrant violation of international law,” the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a source in the Syrian Foreign Ministry.
Apart from repeatedly accusing the Turkish government of collaborating with terrorist groups, including abhat a-Nusra, the Syrian government claims that the deployment of Turkish forces in Idleb contravenes the spirit and letters of the agreement reached during the talks in the Kazakh capital, Astana.
