Unic Press UK: Eighty-years-old Senator John McCain of the United States, a Republican and the 2008 Republican presidential nominee, is suffering from glioblastoma, an aggressive cancer.
McCain’s condition was diagnosed by doctors working at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, where the Republican had undergone a procedure to remove a blood clot from above his left eye.
McCain’s daughter, Meghan, said the entire McCain family had been affected by his father’s state of health, especially considering their previous experiences.
“It won’t surprise you to learn that in all this, the one of us who is most confident an calm is my father. He is the toughest person I know”, Meghan said.
