Unic Press UK: The Venezuelan Government says its forces scuppered an attempt by foreign mercenaries from Colombia to invade its territory through the Port of La Guaira.
In a televised speech Sunday, Venezuela Minister of Interior, Nestor Reverol, said:
“They tried to carry out an invasion by sea, a group of foreign mercenaries from Colombia, to commit terrorist acts in the country and murder leaders of this revolutionary government.”
