Unic Press UK: Following the leaked photos showing the Venezuela opposition leader, Juan Guaido, standing sentry sometime in February 2019 with the suspected members of Los Rastrojos – a Colombian drug-trafficking cartel – the state prosecutor’s office would investigate Guaido, the U.S.-recognized “interim president” of Venezuela.
“The photos first appeared in a tweet on Friday, shared by Wilfredo Canizares of the Fundacion Progresar (Progress Foundation), a Colombian NGO. They depict the US-sponsored “interim president” of Venezuela Juan Guaido posing chummily with two known drug lords, known under the aliases “The Brother,” and “The Minor””, the RT reports.

The Venezuelan Interior Minister, Nestor Reverol said the two men who appear on a photo with Juan Guaido are the leaders of Los Rastrojos.
Meanwhile, Guaido has denied any wrong-doing or having knowledge of the drug lords’ criminal past, claiming unaware of the true identity of the men with whom he took photos.
