War With Iran Would be ‘suicidal’ For United States – Iranian Foreign Minister

Unic Press UK: During an interview Friday with the NBC News, the Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif cautioned the United States and its allies against embarking on a war with the Islamic Republic of Iran as such a war would be a suicide mission for the U.S. and its allies.

I’m saying people in President Donald Trump’s administration are trying to create the same eventually and I believe they will fail. But I think at the end of the day, some sense will prevail and people will find out that it’s suicidal to engage in a war with Iran, he said.

Under President Donald Trump administration, the Iranian government is at serious loggerheads with the United States, and has been saddled with a string of sanctions after it [Iran] turned down overtures for a re-negotiation that would have kiboshed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPoA) inked of 2015.

On May 8, 2018, the United States withdrew the JCPoA, which was inked by the Islamic Republic of Iran, the European Union and the P5+1 countries – China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, insisting that the deal was bad for the world and America.
