Brussels Airport Re-Opens On Sunday After Terrorist Attacks

BRUSSELS, Kingdom of Belgium. (RT) — Brussels Zaventem Airport has announced it has resumed flights on Sunday, almost two weeks after the terrorist attacks.

“From Sunday morning, Brussels Airport should be partially operational,” Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Zaventem Airport, told a press conference earlier, saying that the resumption of services “plays an important role in our grieving process.”

The airport was closed on March 22 after several suicide bombers, one of them identified by the prosecutor as Ibrahim El Bakraoui, blew themselves up killing at least 16 people.
