Unic Press UK: Prince Philip, 99, Duke of Edinburgh and husband of reigning British monarch, Queen Elizabeth, is dead.
His death, which has been announced by the Royal Family, occurred at Windsor Castle, one of the iconic royal residences, which is situated in the English county of Berkshire.

Salute batteries were fired today at noon across the UK and in Gibraltar in memory of the dead Duke of Edinburgh.
