Unic Press UK: Donald Trump, an American billionaire is on the verge to be elected the 45th President of the United States of America, despite being viewed by many as a maverick who ran a surreal presidential campaign that aggressively challenged the establishment.
Trump has defeated his closest rival, Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton, in many of the key battleground states, including Florida [29 electoral votes], Ohio [18 electoral votes], Iowa [6 electoral votes], and North Carolina [15 electoral votes].
In other battleground states, Hillary took Colorado [9 electoral votes], Nevada [6 electoral votes], Virginia [13 electoral votes].
As of this moment, Trump has gathered 254 electoral college votes against Clinton’s 218. It is believed that a win in Pennsylvania, where 20 electoral votes is available, would mean victory for the Republican Party candidate Donald Trump.
