
Unic Press UK: Aero Contractors, a leading aviation service provider in commercial and helicopter offshore oil and gas sector operation, has suspended operations.
The company has two divisions, viz: Aero Nigeria and Rotary Wing. It operates a combined fleet of circa 20 helicopters, 15 fixed wing aircraft ranging from 50 seat Dash 8 to 144 seat Boeing 737-400/500, and employs over 1,000 workers.
Excerpts from the Company’s website reads:
“Dear Esteemed Customers, this is to inform you that we have temporarily suspended all our scheduled services with effect from 1st of September 2016. All other services are still operational. We regret all inconveniences this might cause you. Our Customer Service lines are still available (+234-1-6284140).
“Aero Contractors would like to assure you that the airline will continue to operate on the solid brand heritage rooted in safety and excellent service of over 50 years, as we begin a new phase of restructuring our company.“
