Unic Press UK: UEFA EURO 2016 host, France, has reached the final of the tournament with victory over Germany in a semi-final match that was played in Marseille, France.
Germany was in total control of possession in both halves of the match with sixty-eight percent [68%], but could not score.
It was France top player, Antoine Griezmann, the top scorer at the tournament at the moment, who gave the host nation the first goal in the match at 45’minutes + 2, through a penalty kick when Germany’s captain, Bastian Schweinsteiger, was judged to have punched the ball with his hand. He also scored the second goal at 72’minutes.
