Twenty-one Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIG) Retired

Unic Press UK: Nigeria’s Police Service Commission has announced the retirement of twenty-one Assistant Inspectors General (AIG). Their retirement took effect on Friday, the 1st July 2016.

The spokesperson for the Police Services Commission, Ikechukwu Ani, said:

“The Police Service Commission has approved the retirement of 21 Assistant Inspectors General of Police who were senior to the new acting Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim, before his appointment.”

The AIGs who were retired are: Irmiya F. Yarima, Danladi Y. Mshebwala, Tambari Y. Mohammed, Bala Magaji Nasarawa, Musa Abdulsalam, Adisa Bolanta,  Mohammed J Gana, Olufemi A. Adenike, Johnson A. Ogunsakin, Adenrele T. Shinaba, Umaru Abubakar Manko, Lawal Tanko, James O. Caulcrick, Olufemi David Ogunbayode, Edgar T. Nanakumo, Kalafite H. Adeyemi, Patrick D. Dokumor, Mbu Joseph Mbu, Bala A. Hassan, Yahaya Garba Ardo, and Sabo Ibrahim Ringim.
