Unic Press UK: President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday, the 6th June, travel to London to undergo medical treatment.
The special adviser to the President on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, on Sunday, said that Buhari will travel on Monday, the 6th June, and will be seeing an E. N. T (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialist apropos of a persistent ear infection.
Adesina said that the medical trip is at the instance / advice of two medical experts, Buhari’s personal general practitioner and an E. N. T. specialist in Abuja.
Few days’ ago, there had been several reports per Nigerian mainstream media raising alarm over the health condition of President Buhari.
Full text of the message from the special adviser to the President on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, reads:
“PRESIDENT BUHARI PROCEEDS ON 10 DAYS VACATION: President Muhammadu Buhari will take 10 days off and travel to London on Monday June 6th to rest.
During the holiday, he will see an E.N.T. specialist for a persistent ear infection. The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated. Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution.”
